Review Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3- So it's been one month now, since I first got my hands on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Samsung's foldable tablet, smartphone combo. In this video. I want to share with you guys. My personal experiences. I've had with this phone over the past month of daily usage. So let's go ahead and get started. Starting with the price, the time of this video. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, is on sale at samsung.com. I'll have some links down in the description if you want to check it out for yourself price. Is $1,800. But along with that price tag comes in my personal experience. One of the best experiences I've had with really any device ever. So, cutting right to the chase. How has my day-to-day experience been over the past month? On this Z fault? 3000 out. Like I just said, this has been a phenomenal experience. The fact that you're getting not only this humongous tablet on the inside here, with a seven point six inch, AMOLED 120 hertz display. You're also getting a Lately sized 6.2 inch. 120 hertz AMOLED display on the outside as well. And I absolutely love this outer screen. I know there is a lot of debate on it. People want it to be the width of a conventional smartphone, but it works for this phone. I'm going to explain in detail my personal experiences and how I'm using this phone on a daily basis between broad screen and the inner screen, but before I go into a lot of detail on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3experience, I just want to quickly go over.

Some of the improvements made here on this Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 from the previous generation is z fall to. The weight has been slightly reduced on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, but more importantly the size has been brought down a little bit on the hinge on the left side. Just that little difference. In my personal experience, has made this a much better phone to use as far as one-handed goes. You can see that my fingers come all the way around to the top of the phone. I have a really good grip on this guy. Fact, it is more. More one handable has made it a much better experience for me in the past month of use with this Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, over my past year, or so of use with this full to. Now, the next big thing on the Z fold three verses. The z-fold to is the water resistance. It is huge for me, personally on this default, three. Because on the z-fold to, I wouldn't always use this as my everyday daily phone. And now, with the water resistance on the Z fold three, this phone has been able to be by day.

Lie, everyday device wherever I go, whatever I'm doing. I'm able to take this with me everywhere, and it's even the little things to it's not necessarily going out and getting soaked in the rain. It's, I can have the phone next to the sink while I'm washing dishes and I can watch some YouTube videos or I can take this phone into the bathroom and not have to worry about, dropping the toilet or drop in the sink. It's just such a nice thing to have the water resistance here. But at this point, you might be thinking to yourself. Okay, Shane, this is an $1,800 device. And yes, you have Said it is your favorite device. You've pretty much ever used and yes, it has improvements over the previous generation version. But what are the actual use cases of this phone? What kind of person is going to benefit from? This have best benefit of this? Is that you're getting a phone and then you're also getting a tablet in this device that is super Compact and can stow away somewhere. This is essentially like an iPad Mini that it also functions as a phone itself. So in this outer,

Splay. I have the applications that are very easy to use. Just in this one handed nature like Spotify here to quickly pick a song quickly, checking emails with Gmail, quickly jumping into the news with Google quickly, downloading an application here from the play store, getting navigation, open and ready. And the car quickly, checking out some of your comments on my videos, or just finding the content. I want to watch on YouTube and then open up my phone and then simple, things like quickly responding to Text making phone calls doing settings on Bluetooth. Like, if I want to connect some bluetooth earbuds quickly, checking my calendar or adding something to my calendar when I'm out and about. I have those very easy to use one-handed apps on this outer display and then on the inner display, I have some things that are used more often with this screen completely open. So you have a different home screen on the inner and outer display. So, you see here. I have Excel. I'm doing a lot of excel sheets doing some product.

Any things with this phone? I have Dolphin Emulator here. Lace and GameCube games. I have one of my personal favorites, stardew Valley on here, have some other games on here. Also have my Bible app here to do some reading also have one note here for if I want to connect a Bluetooth keyboard to this phone and prop it up, use it as like a mini computer. And I do plan on making an entire separate video solely on accessories. Like, in the past month. There are a few select things that I have been using on a daily basis and have just gone together really well with this fold. We that I want to share with you guys. First and foremost is just a simple stand. This is literally a just cheap $5 stand off of Amazon. It can fit inside of my wallet. It's the size of a credit card. You just simply prop it up, click it open, doesn't matter which orientation you want to have the phone in and you can just pop it right into this little clip there and it's honestly very stable for what it is and it's just great for viewing Media or content or especially for the productivity uses. I also just have a simple

Bluetooth mouse and a Bluetooth foldable keyboard that I'm able to just simply open, right up. And I'm just quickly jumping into Excel or one note, and I'm already going ahead and typing in some of my things. And then I can just go ahead, fold this up and just be on my way. The next thing that really takes this fold three to the next level for me is just having a Bluetooth controller to go along with it. And this is an excellent gaming setup. You have the speakers Exposed on both sides. And gaming here on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, especially with these controllers has been one of my main use cases of this phone honestly. So if you're into gaming, that is going to be a big aspect of this phone, it is truly incredible. And then one of the more anticipated official accessories for this phone from Samsung is the S Pen. My ESPN experience with the full three has been excellent, but it's just honestly, at the end of the day, it is not nearly the same S Pen experience for me personally.

We as we found on the Galaxy Note. This is the ultimate as pain experience. In my opinion, needs to be inside the phone for it, just to work and make sense. I will mention that there are official Samsung cases, that will hold that S Pen for you. It just doesn't work for me. Honestly, simply because these are fully o cases. These are not just regular cases. Your front display is going to be covered up by that flap. The case that I was using the most is just the Classic leather case. As a really nice grip, it has a really nice premium. Feel and sadly just kind of leaving the S Pen aside. So how is the Z fold? Three held up from a durability point for the last month or so. Far as the displays go, I've had no issues with any sort of scratches or anything. We do have included screen protector on this outer screen and on the inner screen as well. I have to tell you guys Samsung has definitely improved the screen protector on this inner display. The feel of your finger against the screen feels like pretty much any other phone, but it just gives that peace of mind. That's really the biggest thing. There's just a lot of Peace of And improvements here with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 to allow you to use it in a day-to-day use case style like I have for the past month, but even though I've had a case on this for the past month, I still got a bit of a scratch on the bottom of my phone here. You can see right there. It kind of dented a bit. Yes at the end of the day. It was my fault. I dropped my own phone by accident. I dropped it onto a rock, but you can see here that for some reason with this Samsung case. I've never been able to kind of push it. The whole way in to cover this whole part of the half of the phone. You can kind of see on the front half here. It's completely covered. It's completely protected. But then on this back half here is just kind of exposed a little bit and that little bit of exposure you can see here. The scratch is on the case. And then also on the phone right there, you can see that. Hypothetically, if the case was pushed or could be pushed in the whole entire way. Then I probably would not have had that scratch on my phone. It just the

Case would have taken all of that hit. I feel like I need to knock Samsung a little bit for these cases. They definitely need to improve their case game. Some of the other manufacturers out there make better cases for these Samsung phones than Samsung themselves. Aside from just a little scuff for my own are, this phone is a tank. I think this inner display is safer and more protective than other phones in general, just because of the fact that when you're not using it, your folded up and you're using the conventional glass screen on the outside inner screen. It is only exposed when you're using SI. I have personally dropped this phone a couple times with the phone open, and the screen expose, but thankfully nothing has happened on my inner main display on this. You fold three or my z-fold to that. I've been using for over a year. So from a durability standpoint, you definitely don't have to worry about the displays themselves. Now as far as opening and closing this phone goes I absolutely love the opening. And closing experience. It sounds like a silly thing to be excited about but Samsung is greatly improved. The smooth. Enos of the opening and closing of this Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 compared to the Z fold 2. And then there is a fingerprint sensor on the side of this phone, built in the power button, which I absolutely love this. It's so easy to just quickly, pick up this phone again, because it's that candy bar form factor. You can just pick it right up thumb right on the sensor and you're right into your phone or if you just going to commit right. To the inner display. You can easily just lay your thumb on that open right up and you're going to be right into your phone doing. Whatever it is you do. But now flip

Gotta tell you guys, I absolutely love the cameras on this default three. There are a lot of cameras. We have the cameras, triple-n set up on the back, on the front. We have the selfie camera and then on the inner display, we have another camera as well. First and foremost. I absolutely love the under display camera here, on the inner display of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. This allows you to use applications and play games on the entire screen of the phone for an Hire full screen experience. If you just look at this stuff in the middle of the screen, you will never even see that hole punch. That's in the upper left. It's only when you look directly at it, you can kind of see some pixelation and stuff going on. But this is a huge Improvement for me personally, over the Z fold to this just says it all for me. You just see this big black dot appear on the screen. That's always going to be there. No matter what you're doing. And then on this bottom, one is just a pure screen and I think everybody would

Rather have this than to have this and Samsung has somewhat achieve that they're to the point where I am super happy with it, on a daily basis. And then as far as the actual performance of the rear cameras, I am super happy with this camera setup. We have a versatile. Zoom wide angle standard lenses with great photo and video quality and my personal use in personal experience. I'm really liking the quality of the cameras in a compact set up here and the amount of Versatility. T that the phone provides you can simply just lay it down somewhere and get any kind of shots. You want to from those cameras. Of course, you have the inner camera to do some video conferencing or anything like that. You're able to kind of fold this up as like a little laptop and then on top of all of those added features and having this added display real estate, all of those conventional smartphone metrics are. Excellent here on this phone. For example, the charging speeds, 25 watt, charging speeds, the speakers.

Our incredible on this default, three, we have one on the top, one on the bottom. So it doesn't matter what orientation you have, this phone in or what you're doing. You're going to be getting that dual speaker experience and I'm telling you, this is Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has speakers that are louder than a lot of Samsung's laptops and the AMOLED displays on both the inner and outer displays has just been phenomenal. Now, with that said, I know, I've been bringing up a lot of positive points. There are some negative ones that I do want to address. Dress and it kind of has changed my day-to-day life a bit first and foremost. This phone is extremely heavy way heavier than any other Samsung, phone on the market. And you really do feel that on a day-to-day basis. I usually say, in my videos, when the phone is bit heavier, you get used to it, you get used to the feeling of the phone still. After a month of daily usage. I have not gotten used to the weight of this phone. It is just way too heavy for me to have in my pockets. I have since went ahead and got a sling.

To just all this up, stowed away in my bag and then I'll sling this around my shoulder. That's just a change. That I've had to make to my life, to accommodate to this phone, but it honestly works out then because I'm able to put all those accessories, I mentioned earlier right into this guy. So if I want to have my keyboard and mouse with me at all times, it's so easy to just Stow some of this stuff away into my sling, my second down side of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the battery life. Now, that's not to say that the back.

Re is bad. It is certainly not bad. I'm able to usually get through most of my day with very heavy. Excessive use of this phone. But sometimes towards the end of the day. I'll be getting to a very low battery percentage. For example here. It's 3:30 and I'm at 34 percent. So there's a good chance. I might get to the later parts of this evening and I'll have to go and charge it back up instead of jumping into maybe watching some TV on here something later tonight. So I do just wish there was a little bit more. Battery life on this phone overall, even though it's certainly not a deal-breaker for me, and then, lastly, is the price. It is just, it's very expensive at $1,800. It's just confusing for me, because Samsung also came out with the galaxies. You flip three and they drop the price on this phone, like, $300 or so, but the price did not change on this. You fold three the galaxies. You fold two was selling for $1,800, but after using this phone for a full month, every single day for b

No, use cases. I can personally recommend this phone to the right person if you are. Person who does everything on their phone and I mean everything on your phone then this is definitely going to be a very enjoyable experience for you. And in that case I can highly recommend it. This has been my one month later review on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.
